Flood Street Park

We took the girls to the Flood Street park today. They had a blast. Karlee loves the swing and Cheyenne had fun playing on all the toys. Someone had a dog there and Cheyenne spent half of the time trying to chase the dog. Karlee had fun too.

Dixie Homecoming Parade

We went to the Dixie College Homecoming Parade to see Maycee and Belle. Their dance troop was on a float. Belle was sick though and so it was just Maycee. The girls enjoyed the floats and I enjoyed the pizza.

The Rodeo

We went to the rodeo with Shay and the kids. Cheyenne and I had fun. Karlee stayed home with daddy. Cheyenne really liked the bulls and the broncs. She kept cheering for them. I can't wait till next year.

Sheri's funeral

This past weekend we went to a good friend's funeral. Sheri Lynne Zimmerman Klein died on August 31. She had eclampsia and they didn't know. She leaves behind her wonderful husband, Eric, and two beautiful girls, Abby (3 yrs) and Ava (1 week). We love you Sheri and I for one will miss you a lot.

Feeding a one year old

I found out why you haved to watch a one year old eat very closely. Cheyenne thought she would wear her pop tart and then tried to stuff ALL the chicken nuggets in her mouth.

Sisters

Cheyenne really loves her sister. She is being a big helper and they already have a great bond. They even share Daddy. Cheyenne didn't like that the first day, but now she loves it.

Karlee Erin Hayes

The newest member of our family arrived finally on June 13th. Karlee Erin Hayes was born at 8:46 AM. She weighed 9 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20" long. She is a big girl. We are so excited to have her as part of our family. Mike and I are so excited. Cheyenne is having a blast being a big sister. They love eachother and we are all very happy. We love you Karlee.

My first birthday

Cheyenne had her party. We gave her a cupcake to demolish and she loved that. She grabbed the frosting side and ate until she reached hand. It was so cute. She got a ton of presents and I think make out like a bandit. Her favorite is a doll stroller from Uncle Dave, Aunt Shay and her cousins. She also loves the fairy skirt and plate from Grandma, Grandad and Uncle John. She loves her family so much. We are so lucky to have family that loves her. Thank you Shay and Grandma for helping me with her and loving her so much.

Little Bo Peep

This pregnancy I have had sciatic pain really bad and I've had to use a cane. Cheyenne loves to grab the cane and run away. She looks like Little Bo Peep.

Easter at Grandma's

Cheyenne and her cousins had an Easter egg hunt at my parent's house. She didn't really hunt for the eggs. Her cousins did that part for her. Then we dumped the eggs at her feet and let her pick them up. She kept taking them out of the basket, but she had fun anyway.

Face Painting

we also got Cheyenne's face painted at the fair by a friend of Grandma Jill's. Her name is Carrie Thompson and she works all the fairs. She used to be a clown and now she does the face painting. She is very good and Cheyenne actually let her paint her face and she didn't rub it off. She looked so cute!!!

Clark County Fair

We took Cheyenne to the fair and she got to ride the ponies. It was so much fun for her. She wasn't too interested before in anything else, but after she figured out that you could ride the animals, things were pretty fun for her. We can't wait til next year. She will have so much more fun.

Jello

We let Cheyenne feed herself jello the other day and she had a blast with it. Of course she had it all over her face and all over the highchair, but it was fun. Now she wants to feed herself with everything, but she has a hard time with the spoon. She is getting so big so fast. I can't believe that she will be a year old in another two months! Where did the time go?

New Cousin

Cheyenne has a new little cousin. His name is Boston Reid Williams. He is so cute!! Cheyenne still isn't quite sure what a baby is yet and she doesn't like him crying, but she does give him kisses. We also have come up with a name for baby sister. We like Sierra. We aren't sure how we are gonna spell it yet, but we have a name and that is a start.

My Cousins

Cheyenne had so much fun when her cousins from New Mexico (My brother, Terry' kids). She loved Kate the best and clung to her. She loved hanging out with all the girls though and they loved her too. She can't wait to see them again.

Swimming

Cheyenne had a blast swimming with Daddy and her cousins. She kept trying to get out of the life jacket though. She is a "I can do it myself" gal. Just like Mommy and Daddy.

We went to Sand Hollow Aquatic Center with Shay and her kids and Terry's kids. Cheyenne loved it. She loves the water and we are hoping that she will become an Olympic swimmer or something. We can't wait to start her in swimming lessons.

First time at the park

I haven't posted for a while because I have been busy with Cheyenne and work and everything. I promise to be better. Cheyenne and I went to the park for the first time on the 6th of March. She went with Aunt Shay and her cousins. She had fun for the most part until it got windy. Then she was done.

Cheyenne's first tooth

We are very excited about Cheyenne's first tooth. She is trying to cut another one, but it hasn't poked through yet. She is chewing on everything right now. I think it's because her daddy told her she couldn't eat pizza until she got teeth, so I think that she is trying to do that as fast as she can. She really wants what we are eating.

A baby Girl!!

We just found out this morning that we are having another girl. We are very excited about this...especially Cheyenne. She is excited to be a big sister even if she doesn't know what that means exactly. We haven't decided on a name yet, but the fromt runners are: Phoebe Erin and Reba Fae. We are accepting votes so feel free to add your 25 cents. Cheyenne's cousin Belle likes Reba because it sounds like arriba.
